Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Charging4ward, operated by Evolve 480 LLC (Arizona, USA), collects when you visit www.charging4ward.com or buy a kit, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address and name, from checkout, so we can deliver your kit.
- Payment details, collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive a confirmation of payment and basic order details (such as amount, date, and the email you entered).
- Your idea text: the description of your app, game, or tool idea you send us by email, used to tailor your kit.
- Analytics: privacy-friendly, aggregated page-view data through Vercel Analytics (such as pages visited, referring site, country, and device type). It does not use advertising cookies.
- Referral code: if you arrive through a partner link (for example
?ref=partnername), we store that code and pass it to Stripe with your order so we know which partner referred the sale.
Why we use it
To deliver and personalize your kit, handle redo or refund requests, answer your emails, credit referral partners, keep records of sales, and understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe: payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Vercel: website hosting and analytics.
- Our email provider: sending your kit and replying to you.
We may also share information if the law requires it. Referral partners may learn that a sale came through their link, but we don't give them your email or idea text.
Cookies and local storage
When you visit with a ?ref= link, we save the referral code in your browser's localStorage and in a first-party cookie named c4w_ref for 30 days, so the referral is kept if you buy later. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments securely. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years). Emails and idea text are kept while needed to support your order and then deleted on request. The referral cookie and localStorage entry expire after 30 days.
Your rights and requests
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask any privacy question, by emailing thomas@charging4ward.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Some records (like payment records) may need to be kept for legal reasons.
Children
The site and kit are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
